Over the recent years, brick and stone veneers have gained increasing popularity, making a fashion and decorative statement. Prior to this in the 60’s and 70’s, people were covering up this finish with drywall or stucco, showing how trends come round in cycles. The earlier generation, known as the disco generation, also chose to cover up hardwood flooring with shag carpets. It would seem now that the resurgence of brick and stone is a long overdue decor correction.
